Care and repair

Formed in 1995, we help vulnerable people in East Cambridgeshire organise building works to their own homes.

We specialise in organising adaptations, for example level access showers or extensions to provide sleeping and toilet facilities. 

We work with occupational therapists, draw plans, arrange planning applications, obtain contractors’ quotations and inspect the building work.

Our caseworkers visit people in their own homes to discuss their needs and give support and guidance on any issues that arise.

Our service includes: -

• Applying for grants for those who are eligible
