The Agency will work with an Occupational Therapist to organise adaptations to your home.
Examples
of these works could be:
An extension to your home
Alterations to the bathroom may be to provide level access to a shower
Changes to allow access to your home such as widening doors
Stair lift or through the floor lift
Examples
of these works could be:
Replacing dangerous electric wiring
New or replacement central heating
Drawing plans and writing schedules
Apply for planning permission and building regulation approval
Obtaining building quotations
Overseeing the building work and inspecting the work when completed
Organising payment for the work
You may be paying for the work yourself and we shall agree any charges with you beforehand. If you cannot afford to pay for the total cost of the work then we can help you look for Financial Assistance.
